Why does MaXpert favor one-time perpetual licensing?
We respect our customers. Utility software primarily operates locally on your machine, leveraging your Mac’s own processor and SSD. Forcing users into perpetual monthly subscriptions for tools that do not require high cloud server overhead is an industry trend we intentionally reject.
What happens after the 1 year of free updates?
Your software continues to work forever on the compatible macOS versions. You are never forced to upgrade. If you wish to receive future major feature versions after year one, a heavily discounted upgrade pass will be available, but completely optional.
Can I transfer my license to a new Mac when I upgrade hardware?
Yes. Our licensing system allows you to easily deactivate a license on your old Mac and activate it on your new Mac with a single click.
